Three days hike to the summit of the highest peak of the Caribbean! Where you going to start walking at 1,100 m above the sea level and hike up to 3,087 m to the summit of Pico Duarte! Something interesting along the way is how you start with a mix forest and once you start gaining elevation you can start appreciating a landscape dominated by a pine forest mix with ferns and an high elevation bush that we called Pajon. In addition, you will get a chance to pass through the birth of some of the most important rivers of the island, which is one of the reasons this was declared a national park.
This trip includes an ecological guide and a local guide to carry your luggage. Also, we provide transportation to the entrance of the park, all the meals during the trip and the entrance fee to the park.
You must bring your own sleeping bag. In case you need a tent, we can rent you one for US$20.00 for the three days.
The price on the list is based on one traveler. In case you have a group of 5 or more, the prices per person decrease significantly.
Hope to have the pleasure to guide you on this great experience!
